Raging Deep Sea Vent Egg

Burning swirls of orange and red smolder wrathfully along one edge of this elongated egg, spilling over with sizzling hot streaks of incandescent white where lava meets the cold power of water. Waves of cloudy turquoise churn around the sides, deepening to shadowy sapphire as the turmoil fades into peaceful eddies that bring up murky brown from the depths and spin over sharp edge black glass sourced from the fury above. A closer look reveals tiny bubbles scattered all over, foaming from the raging scarlet and sinking through the blue like an army of tempestuous sparks zinging with life and the promise of power. Layer upon layer, intense color glows through hot and cold, shades embodying fire, water and earth colliding to birth something greater than any of them.

Hatching Pose: The Raging Deep Sea Vent Egg hasn't moved at all. All around it, eggs seem to be shivering, shuddering, making their presence known; but this one, nothing. But wait! Before one can even gesture toward that slight, testing wiggle the egg seems almost to explode outward in a flurry of shards; as though the occupant had found some hidden catch to make his exit easier.

Volatile Amber-lit Bronze

Even as a hatchling, this young bronze shows strength and authority of purpose in his demeanor. Muscles joyously ripple across the young body as though unrolled like richest fabric atop his lean frame. Black talons reject the light shimmering down on them in a shiny obsidian reflection, bouncing sunshine back to the sky with no effort at all. Upwards from the talons his limbs are wrapped in layers of rich, luscious bronze that strongly resembles nubbly silk, though on the joints and ridges darker dapples shimmer in an almost glossy mahogany. In certain lights, these dapples gleam with an amber hue, casting an unusual brightness to him that might even beley his dam at times. As the color spreads to creep across the underside of his stomach and tail, it becomes a lighter, blended version of the bronze and amber-chestnut coloration with the distinct sheen of a metallic dragon. His wingsails glitter with the bronze and amber theme once again showing itself off in vivid translucent pools in the actual sails themselves, though they darken up again where the muscles and tendons are attached on his body to an unusual shade of bronze with dark, aged highlights along his flanks.
