Amorphous Corroding Metal Egg

If this egg had been found in a fisher's net, it would have been tossed aside as a glob of corroding material dredged from the watery abyss. Rough and harsh in texture, it may seem like parts are ready to flake off or leave a residue on the skin after touching it. The colors range from the oxidizing blue that oozes in patches from the conglomerate of dull browns, stained whites, and rusting oranges and reds. Although dull compared to other eggs, there are a few spots, especially near the slightly bell shaped flare towards the bottom where a brassy, metallic color shows through.

Egg Inspiration:

Hatching Pose: Eggs are moving everywhere; but now the Amorphous Corroding Metal Egg shimmies in place, piece by corroded piece coming off as its occupant fights for release. Suddenly he's free; and those shards fall about him, sticking to belly and tail.

Suave Cloaked Bronze

Darkness envelops this dragon like the midnight tide upon Ista's black beaches; and, veiled in shadow, in low light he could be very nearly mistaken for black. But the slightest hint of illumination sparks a blaze of shimmering metallic glory, spilling fire to light the darkly aged bronze to a rich, shimmering tone. Along his joints and ridges that dusky, cloaked bronze seems to brighten naturally, as though polished there to a high, rich sheen; and that same polish shows in the elegant lines of his muzzle and exquisite contours of head and neck, the mix of glossy metals making his passionate eyes seem all the larger. Along his wingsails, the bright bronze punctuates the dark, like constellations across the night sky. His tail, long and sinuous, is a swirling mix of the two bronzes; a metallic neap tide. For all his stunning appearance he's compactly built; even for a bronze he's not large, created rather with economical, athletic precision. That potent fire may be packed into a smaller than usual package, but that cocky attitude and dramatic passion is evident yet in his constantly expressive, powerful bearing.
