Claia's Green Typsyth

Lilac and Lime Lost Toy Egg

Jaunty spots cover a plump round shell, sharp lime green stuck onto a gently pretty lilac background with irregular touches of dark seaweed green clinging here and there. Smoothness defines the majority of the shell, the colors dead flat with little deviation aside from a lighter patch on top with a sun-bleached appearance. In contrast, the very bottom is discolored with a area of dull speckles in the sickly olive and rust red of algae blooms. Identical in shape, size alone differentiates lime spots with the variation forming a shifting pattern that tugs at the mind, seeking a name, a shape, an existence. Perhaps that swirl is a wing, perhaps that clump is a head; the answer is best left to the observer.

Egg Inspiration:

Hatching Pose: The Lilac and Lime Lost Toy Egg rolls as the dragonet inside struggles to get out; most eggs around it have hatched now, so where it would have smucked up against other eggs it just crunches against their shards. A shiver, another, and the colours seem to separate; lilac from lime, tone from tone, until a small dragonet is left in their wake.

Inquisitive Sea's Dusk Green

Nearly uniform in color, this dragon's green hide is the color of a calm lagoon, a light sea green so unusual surely no other dragon shares in its hue. Nary a variation changes the hue of its hide as the graceful dragon moves, tip of tail matching throat, foreclaws matching hindclaws. The only shift comes when the wings are extended and her wingsails show themselves to be nearly translucent, lightening to the point of being almost white, especially in the gleam of the moonslight. The other hint of non-uniformity comes from the splotch of copper-green crowning her head, working in a diamond pattern. Her eyes are ever curious, ever looking here and there for that which always seems to draw her attention.
