Search Applications

If you're interested in search, we recommend registering with '+register <name>=<email address>' from any Istan room to let us know that you're thinking about applying. Then we can keep you apprised of changes to the schedule or approaching deadlines. And if you do choose to apply, you'll be able to '+register/check' to see if we've received your application.

Below you will find Ista's search applications. All applicants must fill out the general Search Application; those who wish to apply for a metallic dragon must also fill out the appropriate metallic application. The forms below submit results online; if you find the forms do not work for you, email Fayre with your answers. Should you have questions, do not hesitate to ask via page or +mail. Most importantly, take your time and relax! Be genuine, be yourself and don't stress too much over your answers. ;)

Note: We strongly recommend that you write your answers out ahead of time in another program and use cut-and-paste to put the answers into the form. We do not anticipate problems with the forms, but know how frustrating it would be to lose the answers if a problem did occur.

Search Application - This is the general search application that everyone wishing to apply for search at Ista Weyr must complete and submit. If you do not submit this application you will not be considered for search.

Bronze Application - This is the application to be filled out by male applicants wishing to be considered for bronze. You should complete and submit this after completing and submitting the general Search Application.

Gold Application - This is the application to be filled out by female applicants wishing to be considered for gold. Before you fill this out, we recommend that you read the Goldrider Letter. Also you should only complete this application after you have completed and submitted the general Search Application.
