The Flight - IC

Who will rise? Well, the best IC answer to that is: whichever gold becomes proddy next. Generally, the queen and her rider begin exhibiting signs known as proddiness a few days before she rises. This is much more intense than for greens and their riders, and it isn't unusual for other members of the Weyr to feel it as well, particularly the riders of male dragons.

At Ista Weyr, we have one fertile queen included in our hatching rotation: Safriath (Nenita). This cycle, Safriath will be rising.

The Flight - OOC

In the few weeks surrounding the flight, the Weyr undergoes its OOC Search process. This will be announced on the Weyr and MUSHwide bulletin boards ('+bbread 2' for the general board and '+bbread 6' for Ista's board), and many Istans will have an announcement in their @doing about where to go for more information. At Ista Weyr, we ask that you let us know that you are interested in search by registering your character's name and email address from any Istan room, just check out '+lhelp search' for help. Once you've registered, it's time to fill out your application.
