Weyrlinghood: Month 6
RP Ideas
- Practice flaming: Once the WLM team is convinced you're being safe about it, you'll be permitted to practice sustaining flame and then flaming balls of grass out of the air.
- Finish academics: Are you ready for your tests?
- Get ready to go between: Practice your visualization, study maps and confess your fears about that upcoming first time going between.
- Visit the island: Now that you're flying well, you might be allowed to go visiting other areas on the island. Just make sure you get permission from your WLM!
- Woops!: Now that fire has been added to the mix, muscle strains and contusions aren't the only thing to worry about. Minor burns, particularly those from hot ash, may be pretty common. Any major incidents should be cleared with the WLM team.
Vignette Ideas
- You've been living in your weyr for a few weeks now, how does it feel? Are you loving the freedom? Taking advantage of the privacy? Or missing the sounds and companionship of fellow weyrlings? (not to mention those midnight talks you only *think* the Weyrlingmaster doesn't know about?).
- What did you think of your first rope drill? What did it feel like to finally 'fight Thread'? To know you may never fight the real thing?
- By now you know that those first between lessons are coming up soon. Scared? Excited about the prospect of being able to go anywhere on Pern in the blink of an eye?
- Is your dragon a wanderer or a homebody? Now that you're a flying pair, is he or she pushing at you to get out of the Weyr? Pushing the limits?
